Pondview Estates is located just 15 minutes east of Peterborough in Norwood, Ontario. The Venue sits on a 165 year old property of 110 acres of beautiful farm fields, forest, a small river and a beautiful brick Farmhouse along with a Horse barn and other out buildings.
Pondview was purchased by The Belsey Family in 1995 where they have worked tirelessly renovating, grooming and working the land to now be the beautiful peaceful escape that it is! After hosting 2 family weddings on the property The Belsey Family along with Samantha Ann & Co. have partnered up to offer Peterborough and surrounding areas newest Wedding Venue!

Pondview Estates is one of the only DIY Wedding Venues in Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes areas. We provide the beautiful backdrop, while you create the Wedding of your dreams from the ground up! The Client is responsible for all rental bookings such as a Tent, Tables, Chairs etc… but don’t worry, Pondview Estates will be there every step of the way to ensure you have everything you need. But most importantly… the backdrop to your Wedding is already set- and it is stunning! Take a peek below at the spaces available to our Clients!

THE CEREMONY SPACE
The famous Gardens at Pondview are the perfect setting for your Ceremony. Your guests will arrive and mingle in the Gathering Space under the shade of Maple trees waiting for the Ceremony to begin! Your guests will sit all throughout the Gardens, with every seat being a clear view of the Altar space. Your music can be set up using the many different electrical outlets and spaces around the Ceremony space. After the Ceremony, your guests are welcome to continue to enjoy the Gardens while grabbing a beverage and snack from the Cocktail area! The Gardens are just as beautiful at night! Lit up with Edison lights all through the Gardens, your guests can take a break from Dancing and enjoy the many different sitting areas to catch up with old friends under the stars!
THE COCKTAIL SPACE
There are many different areas we can set up your Cocktail space! If you want your guests to continue to enjoy the Garden, we suggest setting up right next to the Gardens, in-between your Ceremony space and the Tent space! Here are a few snap shots of an example of a Cocktail area space! We suggest renting a small tent, cocktail tables, linens and some simple decor to display your Beverage coolers and food for your guests!
THE PICTURES SPACE
We are totally bias when we say there is no spot on the farm that wouldn’t photograph well, but we did create a beautiful backdrop with family photos in mind! Meet the famous Stone Wall. Inspired by the owners of Pondview Estates many trips to Italy, this stone wall was hand built by Mike and is a special spot to get your photos done on your big day! Along with the stone wall, Bridal shots in the garden and sunset photos in the west field are a game changers for your photographers! If you are a Photographer or a newly engaged couple looking for a space to take any Lifestyle or Wedding photos, we also offer bookings for that too! Inquire within!
THE RECEPTION SPACE
The Tent Space is located in the South Field of the Venue through the Entryway. This field space can accommodate any size of tent and we can arrange it in the best way suited for your Event. This is the best space to have your Washrooms as well. You can have fun with a blank canvas to create the Wedding Reception of your dreams! You can also choose to work closely with Samantha from Samatha Ann & Co. to ensure you have all your decor and rental needs! We also know what our Vendors like in terms of space to drive up to the back of the tent to perform catering services (so we have made a separate entrance for them!), electrical needs and so on, so we can make sure you have all that arranged.
THE REHEARSAL SPACE
We are more then happy to host your bridal party and immediate family for an intimate rehearsal dinner the day before your wedding! You can use the ceremony space to rehearse your ceremony and the gardens if you’d like to enjoy any food and beverages.
YOUR OWN WEDDING COORDINATOR & PLANNER
At Pondview Estates, not only are you booking the beautiful Venue but you are also getting a built in Wedding Day of Coordinator! This service is built into the Cost of the Wedding Venue! Samantha and her Team will be there every step of the way! From giving referrals to amazing Wedding Vendors, to setting up your entire Wedding on the Day of, to managing and executing your Day so everything goes perfectly and smoothly!
For 2025 Pondview Clients, Samantha Ann & Co. is offering Full Wedding Planning for Pondview Estates Clients. Are you starting to freak out wondering how you are going to plan your whole wedding by yourself? Is your life already hectic enough? Not to worry.. Samantha will take care of it all. You will make every decision when it comes to your Wedding, but Samantha will assist in building your budget, creating your Wedding Design and Vision, booking all your Vendors, creating your Timeline, managing all communications between your Vendors all while ensuring you are getting your Dream day! Truly a one stop shop.. let Samantha take the stress out of your Wedding for you! Please note this is an additional cost to your Wedding Venue Rental fee.
